Coaching Process

My work clothes! 🙂

Trellis Usher, President & CEO, T.R. Ellis Group has over a decade of experience coaching leaders in some of the most recognized companies in the world. Her experience, skill and strong intuition enable her to help individuals cut through personal and professional challenges that have held them back. She possesses an approachability that instantly builds trust with even the toughest of clients and is able to move them forward through tough yet caring inquiry.

Her action-oriented methodology helps individuals, teams and organizations realize their maximum potential through targeted coaching. Trellis partners with you to create a customized coaching plan to minimize derailers, maximize strengths and turn challenges into opportunities.

Inquire and Define

We begin the process with a 90-minute Inquiry Meeting to better understand the current situation and begin to define the specific goals you wish to achieve.

Assess & Plan

The inquiry meeting is followed up by an assessment using an industry recognized psychometric instrument. The instrument selected is based on your desired objectives. Our consultants are qualified in the use of the Hogan Personality Inventory (HPI), Hermann Brain Dominance Instrument (HBDI), DISC Communications Styles, PDI/Ninth House Profilor 360 and can also interpret most other corporate 360 assessments. The Inquiry Meeting and assessment report help us to establish a baseline from which we will work. The baseline and coaching objectives form the primary components of the targeted Coaching Plan.

Implement

During the coaching sessions (in person or via phone), you will receive practical development suggestions on pressing matters to help eliminate interference and reach your goals. We will use real scenarios based on existing challenges you are facing in your work and/or personal life. Each session will last either 30 or 55 minutes each. The frequency and duration of the entire coaching engagement will be determined based on your specific goals. Most engagements consist of 6-9 coaching sessions conducted on a bi-monthly basis.

Monitor & Close-down

After an agreed upon number of sessions, Trellis will work with you to determine if additional sessions are needed or desired. At the end of the engagement, you will be asked to complete a Coaching Feedback Form that allows her to gain valuable feedback from you on the overall effectiveness of the engagement.

If you’d like to contact Trellis about helping you break through the barriers that have been holding you back, complete the form below and you will be contacted per your instructions.
